The ‘Production Processes’ seminar provides a holistic understanding of the design, management and continuous improvement of production processes in the context of Industry 4.0. The focus is on the ability to consistently align processes with value creation – based on the principle of implementing only those measures that actually add value, whilst reducing or eliminating inefficient activities. The seminar demonstrates how organisations structure their process landscape – from management and core processes right through to support functions – and optimise it sustainably through digitalisation, automation and standardisation.
Particular emphasis is placed on linking process management with modern methods such as continuous improvement (CIP), value stream mapping and total productive maintenance (TPM), as well as on how digitalisation and processes can be optimally aligned. The seminar offers practical approaches to specifically improve efficiency, transparency and competitiveness in production.
